With the growing population of Neo-Traditional neighborhoods in America, the incorporation of office space located adjacent to houses requires a new type of building.

Architectural Workshop was hired by Greenwood Pediatrics to create a site plan and design for a 14,000 sqft. multi-tenant office building. The requirements were that the design complements the neighboring residential development, while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for their patients.

The solution was a Prairie style, one-story building with a hipped roof, stone and stucco exterior, and a front porch entrance. The vertical stone elements are used to breakup the building scale and to conceal roof top mechanical units. The plan included concealed parking behind the building and an abundance of trees and foliage to add to the inviting atmosphere of the site.
