First Community Bank is the flagship for the new branch bank of First State Bank of New Mexico. The ambitious project combined the talents of R M Ruwart Design (Interiors) and Architectural Workshop who were hired to create a completely open, airy design within the 5,400 square foot area within a tight completion schedule. Additional offices were located in a mezzanine area to meet the 7,200 square foot program.

Finishes include glass and steel handrails, cherry furniture, panels and windows with a mixture of marble and carpet flooring. High ceilings and glass were incorporated throughout to allow as much natural lighting as possible.

• Provided a solution that produced 25% more office space through adding mezzanine level to plan
   
• Met challenging time constraints of 5 1/2 months for design, permitting, and construction
